Jamey Summerfield began her career as a chemical engineer preceded and followed by careers of service in both spiritual and conventional settings. Her ability of observation and intuitive insight come together to make her a truly powerful healing force.

She began her vocational pursuit in spiritual solitude as a nun in the Dominican Order of the Catholic Church. She carried her practice into the field of allopathic medicine when she became a registered nurse, working in the cardiac unit of Methodist Hospital under Dr. Michael DeBakey. Taking a break from a life of service, Jamey then received a Masters in Chemical Engineering. She worked as an engineer for such prestigious companies as Brown & Root and MW Kellogg, eventually leading to the establishment of her own water and waste-water EPA compliance company, Envirotech. Her work experience also includes laboratory research at Rice University for the Apollo and Gemini space missions.

Expanding on her wholistic ideals of health, Jamey has over 2000 hours of ongoing education in the field of clinical nutrition. She is a Certified Traditional Naturopath (CTN), Doctor of Natural Health, Applied Clinical Nutrition (ACN), Certified Nutritional Consultant (CNC). In addition, she has a postdoctoral degree in clinical nutrition from Texas Chiropractic College.

Jamey is a doctor of Naturopathy, a Doctor of Pastoral Medicine and a nutritionist in her own private practice. Nutritionally Dr. Jamey utilizes extensive case history, Symptom Survey, blood work and hair and saliva analysis to determine a clients Position along the continuum from illness to wellness. Dr. Jamey also uses nutritional supplementation and homeopathic solutions to address specific weaknesses and physiological needs.
